CEO

Growing up under the leadership of his grandfather, J. V. Hamrick Jr., and his father, Rusty Lambert, both owners of Plywood Case Company, Jay gained a wealth of knowledge about the business. He now continues to run the company with the same core values that have made Plywood Case Company successful for generations.  Jay handles day-to-day operations, inventory, and our sales team.

david adams

General manager

David began his career at Plywood Case Company in 1991. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the company, having truly “been there and done that.” David entered the industry at a young age, working on a framing crew and driving nails for a custom home builder. This hands-on field experience makes him a valuable asset to both our team and our customers, providing exceptional product knowledge and expert advice. David oversees our customer support team and manages doors and windows, as well as special-order items.

Brandy prater

accounting manager

Brandy began her career at Plywood Case Company in 2025. She brings years of accounting experience from the building supply industry to Plywood Case. Brandy specializes in accounts payable and accounts receivable, and she manages all day-to-day accounting operations.

Bill began his career at Plywood Case Company in 2025. He brings a wealth of knowledge from the retail side of the business, along with years of sales and customer service experience. Bill has become our go-to teammate for new product knowledge and marketing. He oversees our customer service department, inventory control, and marketing team.
